Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The reception team were friendly and enthusiastic, and we were pleasantly surprised by the "Gourmet Corner" for tired tourists.

I loved that the mini bar and coffee amenities were replenished daily. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of options including gluten-free and different types of milk. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the old part of Madrid, with many restaurants and bars nearby. To top it off, the hotel surprised my husband with delicious cheesecake slices for his birthday! I highly recommend Catalonia for a fantastic stay.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic. The room was quiet, well-maintained, and clean. The afternoon tapas were delicious, and the bartender made the best sangria. We appreciated the free water in the mini-bar, especially during the hot weather. They even flagged taxis for us at the front door, which was super convenient. The location in the old literary quarter was perfect, with many great restaurants within walking distance. We also loved that we could easily grab a taxi to go across town.
